This was one of those directing jobs that sticks with you—not just because of the production, but because of who walked onto the set. First, I had the chance to meet and work with Ahmad Rashad, a football legend and, frankly, one of my personal heroes growing up. He was being inducted into the Vikings Hall of Fame, and there we were, shooting inside U.S. Bank Stadium, walking the turf like we owned the place.

The scale of the space demanded a small army of cameras and a crew that moved like clockwork. We had to cover a lot of ground—literally and logistically—but everyone brought their A-game. And, not to brag (well, maybe a little), but by the end of the day, Ahmad gave me his number so I could text him a few selects. That alone might’ve made my year.
