The University of Northern Iowa approached us to create a four-spot campaign, each one highlighting a different area of campus life. I served as Creative Director on the project and also got my hands dirty as one of the Motion Designers.

This particular spot is a favorite of mine—probably because it focuses on the Art Department, which felt like a natural fit for the kind of visual storytelling we wanted to do. The approach was simple but effective: using still photographs and breathing a bit of life into them through subtle motion and careful camera moves. We also brought the message forward with animated type, guiding the viewer in a way that feels intentional but not overbearing.

It’s the kind of work that doesn’t shout, but if you sit with it, you realize how much is going on just beneath the surface.
