Working with Target has been part of my career from the very start. For this drive-up spot, I wore a couple of hats—VFX supervisor and finisher. These spots might look simple on the surface, but there’s more going on than meets the eye. Motion control cameras weaving between cars, a fully CG overhead shot at the end with real people composited in, and a few products in the trunk that are entirely digital. The question is—can you tell which ones? Sometimes the trick is making the impossible feel perfectly normal.
