This spot was the brainchild of Preston Spire, tackling the serious issue of gambling addiction—definitely not your usual lighthearted fare. It was a challenge I was glad to take on, stepping into directing alongside VFX supervision and finishing. Working on PSAs that give back to the community is always rewarding, and this one was no exception.

On a side note, the blue elephant video started it all—a proof of concept we put together at VOLT Studios to win the job. The elephant was blue, symbolizing Anti-Gambling Month, which felt like a subtle but fitting touch. Sometimes these small details carry the most meaning. In this case, it was a detail that was taken out of the final finish.
