This 360 video was part of a larger campaign for STōK Coffee—and one of my first forays into the strange and slightly surreal world of 360-degree filmmaking. I’m proud of how it turned out, especially considering that almost nothing was actually shot, aside from a hand clutching a cup of STōK.
The rest was carefully constructed: a patchwork of shoot elements, stock photography, and a 3D cloudscape, all designed to give you the peculiar sensation of being carried through the sky in the talons of an eagle. Not your everyday coffee ad, but then again, that’s what made it fun.
